WHAT you’ll do

  • Drive sales growth for Stack8 among enterprise-level organizations in major North American markets
  • Develop sales strategies for your assigned region, working with our Sales Director to continuously improve and refine your approach
  • Build strong relationships with C-level decision-makers, understanding their needs and ensuring that our product teams deliver on their expectations
  • Scheduling and leading client meetings, working with technical pre-sales experts when necessary to deliver product demos and address technical questions
  • Support Business Development and Marketing teams with prospecting
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach, to project delivery, post-sales support
  • Manage our Salesforce CRM, ensuring that all customer activity and sales pipeline data is up to date
  • Report to our Sales Director, acting as his eyes, ears, and strategic presence on the ground in your assigned region
  • Educate fellow sales colleagues, sharing your experiences and helping to set best practice for the way we position and promote our offering
  • Build an in-depth understanding of Stack8’s solutions portfolio, with a focus on customer benefits

WHAT we’re looking for

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a B2B sales role, ideally in the technology or telecom sector
  • A quarterback. You know how and when to engage other team members to get the job done
  • A coach. We expect you to give us much as you take. Think of our business as an open platform where everyone shares and helps each other to continuously improve
  • A self-starter. We’ll give you the tools and support to succeed but we won’t micromanage you. You know what it takes to drive sales at this level
  • A relationship-builder. You don’t just sell – you get close to senior stakeholders and earn their trust. Most importantly, you demonstrate an innate understanding of their concerns and can reliably come back to them with a clear, actionable solution
  • A strategic thinker. Where others see challenges, you see opportunities to innovate, tapping Stack8s account team and product experts to come up with new ways to meet customers’ needs
  • A team player. We know it’s a cliché, but at Stack8 we believe in coaching each other, and that starts with everyone having coachable mindset. We don’t just want to succeed; we want to get better at what we do each day
  • A clear vision. You’ll be leading sales in one of three high-growth markets, and we trust you to develop and execute a strategy based on your considerable knowledge and experience
